About QuantoTech

QuantoTech is a supplier of LED and Ag-Tech Systems based in Vancouver, Canada that specializes in custom LED light, hydroponic, and control systems.

As a member of BC’s Cleantech Supercluster, QuantoTech strives for environment friendly solutions. LEDs are the most efficient and environment friendly lighting available on the market thanks to their long lifespan and efficient energy consumption and minimal heat waste.

The company has patents pending on vertically staged grow systems for horticulture and has developed Wi-Fi enabled plant monitoring and tracking for all of its grow systems. The solution was originally developed for northern latitude or challenging grow sites but can be applied to any grow situation. QuantoTech’s hydroponic shelving system takes a traditional grow layout and makes it vertical, optimizing the growing area inside of greenhouses and increasing output. The shelving has a water and nutrient distribution systems that can integrate with an existing control system.

QuantoTech works closely with local Canadian universities, researching solutions to further minimize electrical and thermal waste, to test plant monitoring systems, and to run controlled experiments. QuantoTech also hosts practicum students.

Alycia van der Gracht

Alycia is an entrepreneur. As a founding member of QuantoTech, she oversees supply chain management, client services, research and analysis, and day to day operations for the QuantoTech team.
